Shan is an excellent driving instructor. Not only she taught me all the necessary skills but she also made me feel confident in driving. She knows the difficulties of learning driving to females. If you are looking for a female instructor, that’s her! I really enjoy driving with her. I had another instructor before so I know she is an instructor who made me feel comfortable and relax. This is very important as I would make mistakes when I feel nervous. I am not a person who can master driving quickly. She is always patient, cheerful, calm and give me confidence and compliments. The BEST experience anyone could have! I was someone who would cry every time my mum suggested for me to drive on a main road; I remember having to go straight at a set of lights and was having a complete mental breakdown at the wheel. Before my first lesson with Shanley, I was again, in tears for fear that I would be driving on main-ish road. But the second I got into her car, the tears went away. I immediately felt complete trust in Shan! We went to the service station and she taught me how to fill up a car; although I never seemed to book my lesson around eating-time, I know that other students have gone through drive thru's too! All to get us more confident on the road.

A year later and I have got P's! Passed first try and with a clean sheet... all thanks to Shanley. I truly couldn't have done it without her, for I would still be the terrified girl crying at the thought of having to sit in the drivers seat.

Thank you so much to Shanley for being hands down the BEST driving instructor on the Gold Coast. I came to her with a lot of anxiety and self doubt, however that quickly changed within the first 5 minutes of our first lesson! She made me feel comfortable, safe and secure with my driving. She listened to my concerns and always made sure I didn’t speak negatively about myself or my driving ?? she made the anxiety I had disappear through guidance, understanding and patience. She was there to support me with every question or doubt that I had (not that I had a lot because she wouldn’t let me). She is very passionate about what she does and this shows through her lessons and conversations. Her amazing, happy & loving personality is a bonus ?? Because of Shanley I passed my driving test on the first go with a clean sheet and couldn’t be more grateful to her. Once again she is hands down the best instructor on the GC and I couldn’t recommend her enough!

I definitely recommend Empire driving school!!! Shan has helped me so much, she made me feel super comfortable and relaxed about everything. She would make me feel less nervous about things i wasn’t quite confident with. She made me feel more confident in driving and to not doubt myself too much in driving. Super lovely and talkative. On test day i was super nervous but i felt at ease knowing she was there. Definitely a 10/10 experience and recommendation.

As an older person I had my apprehensions about driving, after starting with one driving school who did not put me at ease. I found Shan, what ended up happening was the ability to see myself as a good, safe, confident driver. Shan was so good with me, putting up with my strange ways. Supported me through all my driving uncertainty and helped me to get my P's. I was always excited when it was driving lesson day and would be smiling all day. Shan knows how to put people at ease, let you have a laugh while driving and was always is always there to support and guide you. Shan works at your pace and always put your mind at ease. I cannot say enough great things about Shan, except if you are looking for a great driving instructor on the Gold Coast then go to Shan. :D

Lucky for you who read this as you'll experience my unique style I write in poetic literacy!

So first of all I'll mention the date, time and scene were in.
It's Thursday May 22nd 2021, it's Around 12pm in the arvo, and I'm outside my unit, waiting on someone and for something to begin.

To be more specific I'm here waiting to be picked up by the instructor for my driving lesson as its time..
Then suddenly with a 'Whoosh' and a 'Vroom' and in a blink of an eye a Titanium Grey ASX has just parked in front of me with the driving company logo and sign!

Then It was like a scene taken from a movie you know where the superstar parks their car, the camera's move in and focus and then it's as if on que they step out and strike a pose and how it's all in slow motion..
Okay so now think the total opposite of what's written above though keep the superstar title as she has earned that through her hard work and job devotion.

Then I see a silhouette of a person step out of the car then i feel my anxiety levels spike rapidly fast.
As she walks closer however she begins to exude a mix of Happy, friendly, and calming vibes that blow my anxiety away with a blast!

Picture this in your mind the image of a young lady whose about 5'7", blonde hair all tied up in a tail, with sunnies covering her eyes, she's wearing a black work top and black pants, have you got the description?
With that image in mind allow me to introduce you all to 'Shanz' now take a bow as she plays a lead role so readers lets show her our adoration!

If some are curious and want to know about the driving lesson Shanz and I had that are reading.
My advice to you is call Empire and request to book in with her and then the lesson she'll be revealing.
