Hi I'm Shan, my husband Channan and I are the owners of Empire Driving School. We teach Automatic and Manual driving lessons on the southern end of the Gold Coast. Channan also teaches in Light/Medium Rigid Trucks. From the moment you step into our cars, you can be assured that you will learn to drive in a fun, relaxed and safe environment. Patience and safety is what we pride ourselves on. Our objective is to teach the skills you need to know not only to pass your driving test but to be a safe and confident driver. Our team of driving instructors specialises in supporting leaners with driving anxiety and are qualified in First Aid and CPR.

As an older person I had my apprehensions about driving, after starting with one driving school who did not put me at ease. I found Shan, what ended up happening was the ability to see myself as a good, safe, confident driver. Shan was so good with me, putting up with my strange ways. Shan supported me through all my driving uncertainty and helped me to get my P’s. I was always excited when it was driving lesson day and would be smiling all day. Shan knows how to put people at ease, she likes to laugh while driving and is always there to support and guide you. Shan works at your pace and will put your mind at ease. I cannot say enough good things about Shan, except if you are looking for a great driving instructor on the Gold Coast then go to Shan

Thank you so much to Shanley for being hands down the BEST driving instructor on the Gold Coast. I came to her with a lot of anxiety and self doubt, however that quickly changed within the first 5 minutes of our first lesson! She made me feel comfortable, safe and secure with my driving. She listened to my concerns and always made sure I didn’t speak negatively about myself or my driving ?? she made the anxiety I had disappear through guidance, understanding and patience. She was there to support me with every question or doubt that I had (not that I had a lot because she wouldn’t let me). She is very passionate about what she does and this shows through her lessons and conversations. Her amazing, happy & loving personality is a bonus ?? Because of Shanley I passed my driving test on the first go with a clean sheet and couldn’t be more grateful to her. Once again she is hands down the best instructor on the GC and I couldn’t recommend her enough!
